Transfers for dialysis and regular treatment

In short

For patients attending treatment several days a week, a fixed weekly schedule can replace calling each time. The vehicle comes at the same times, and you only call when something changes. It also makes it easier for relatives living far away to follow.

Who is a regular schedule for?

Patients on dialysis two or three days a week, those on chemotherapy or radiotherapy courses, and those attending physiotherapy or frequent dressing changes — anyone using the same route at the same times again and again.

Setting it up

  1. Get the session calendar: days, start time and average length
  2. Set the pick-up time, allowing for the road and leaving the building
  3. Choose the return: waiting for short sessions, a separate return for long ones such as dialysis
  4. Agree who reports changes
  5. Review after the first week and adjust times

After dialysis

Patients are often tired and may have low blood pressure, so a reclined position and being taken right to bed matter.

Relatives far away

In districts such as Malkara, Hayrabolu and Saray, patients’ children often live elsewhere. A fixed schedule removes the phone calls for each session, and a short message can be sent after each trip. See patient transfer ambulance.

Sharing the pick-up and drop-off addresses is enough. We sort out the rest together.
