Why Süleymanpaşa matters
Süleymanpaşa is the medical hub of the province. Patients referred from the other ten districts arrive at its hospitals and return home from here, so transfers run both ways: short in-town trips and longer discharge journeys to other districts.
Hospitals
Tekirdağ City Hospital (İstiklal quarter, on the ring road) and Tekirdağ State Hospital (Ortacami quarter) are in Süleymanpaşa. Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Hospital and private hospitals are also here.
Access in town
The centre is built on a slope rising from the seafront. In older quarters such as Ertuğrul, Ortacami and Eskicami, streets are narrow and some buildings have no lift, so tell us the floor and how close a vehicle can get. In summer, requests rise from holiday homes in Kumbağ, Barbaros and Değirmenaltı; sharing a location pin helps.

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry discharged patients from the city hospital to other districts?
Yes, to every district of Tekirdağ and beyond the province.
What if the building has no lift?
A carry chair and extra staff are used on stairs that do not fit a stretcher. Just tell us the floor.
