Start from the arrival time
Planning begins with when the hospital expects the patient, not when you leave. Find out the admission or appointment time and which entrance to use; on large campuses the emergency, outpatient and ward entrances are far apart.
Which side of the city?
Seen from Tekirdağ, a hospital on the Asian side takes noticeably longer than one on the European side because of the bridge or tunnel crossing. If you have a choice of hospital, discuss this with your doctor.
Departure district
Çerkezköy and Kapaklı are closest to Istanbul; Çorlu and Marmaraereğlisi connect directly via the motorway or the coast road; from Malkara, Hayrabolu and Şarköy you first have to reach the centre or the motorway.
